Each two-hour class offers a study in color and design. You create your piece by yourself. This is not a paint-by-number project but an insight into abstraction, color theory and design. Group participation is an important part of these sessions. Paints are acrylic with access to acrylic inks, oil pastel and use of stencils and a variety of other unique tools. Canvas size will vary depending on the design of the month. Class size is limited to eight people with a minimum age of 14. Special event classes can be scheduled for your convenience and limited to ten people.

Classes are $95 each and include all supplies as well as a glass of wine. Sign up for two classes for $175 or three classes for $250.

Adobe Lightroom Workshops
with Stephen Robeck

LR Logo.jpeg

Adobe Lightroom is a very powerful tool for all kinds of photographers. Lightroom is MUCH easier to learn than Photoshop (which really isn’t needed unless you need to work in layers) and can handle everything from file management to image editing, printing to book publishing. This introductory workshop will demystify the difference between JPEG and RAW files, the techniques of non-destructive editing, basic color management and much more. Group size is limited to eight people, and you won’t need a computer or a Lightroom subscription since all the demonstrations will be projected.

The workshop will run for 3 hours and cost $125 per person. More advanced Lightroom sessions are available as are one-on-one Photoshop workshops.

The first workshop is scheduled for Saturday, January 11, 2020, 1:00-4:00. Plan to bring a notebook and, most importantly, your camera. If you already shoot in RAW mode, that’s great. If you typically capture JPEG files, take some time to see if your camera has RAW capability. Virtually all DSLR and mirrorless cameras do.

Additional workshops and dates will be announced in the weeks ahead.
